We took part in the annual KTU Career Day 2016 event

2016 m. 1 March. Tetas UAB team represented Kaunas Žalgiris Arena in the KTU Career Days 2016 event. KTU Career Days 2016 is the largest career matchmaking fair for students and company representatives in the Baltic States, taking place for the twelfth consecutive year.

During the event, we presented our company to a large audience of students, talked about the company’s activities, work, cooperation and opportunities, and looked for potential employees and candidates for internships with the company. During the event, we also took part in the conference “Where are the career trends heading?”, where the speaker Gitanas Nausėda, Chief Economist and Advisor to the President of SEB, spoke about the importance of career and knowledge in our lives, and urged to “always follow the train of knowledge, not next to the train, but always be in front of the train with your knowledge”.

One of the guests of honour at the KTU Career Days 2016 event, Prime Minister of the Republic of Lithuania Algirdas Butkevičius, stressed that this event is an excellent opportunity for students to introduce themselves, for companies to present themselves, to publicise themselves and to find promising employees.

In total, more than 120 companies and organisations took part in Career Days. We received a KTU certificate of appreciation for our annual active participation in the event.
