After a profitable year in 2020, Tetas colleagues see more and more business opportunities in the renewable energy contracting market.
“As part of the company’s strategy, we are aiming to make this year’s revenues from the design and installation of solar power plants for private and corporate clients at least one tenth of Tetas’ annual revenues. We plan to achieve this through targeted growth in Lithuanian and foreign markets,” says Gediminas Mažeika, CEO of Tetas.
There is a growing public awareness of our impact on the climate and climate change, and the use of renewable energy in business and households is becoming increasingly popular, both because of government support and because of cheaper technologies that allow more people to take advantage of the benefits of renewable energy.
Also, in order to increase the reliability of the self-consumption of the substations on the transmission grid, the design of hybrid solar power plants, mounted on the modules of the substation’s control panel, has been started at the request of Litgrid’s colleagues, thus avoiding the need to take up any additional land area.
To ensure a service that meets today’s requirements, Tetas colleagues carry out inspections of new sites using professional drones, which capture a three-dimensional image of the site, allowing them to select the most efficient placement of solar panels.
In 2020, more than 120 people in Lithuania had their own roofs roofed with solar power plants with a total installed capacity of 900 kW.At the end of the year, the services were extended to business customers, with the installation of a solar power plant with a capacity of over 125 kW at the Abromiskes Rehabilitation Hospital.
