Tetas Employees are More Loyal Than Those in the Construction Sector

The indicators of employee loyalty (eNPS) and job satisfaction at the energy infrastructure development and maintenance company Tetas surpass those of the construction sector, as shown by the engagement survey conducted by the EPSO-G group.

The engagement survey aimed to determine the levels of employee engagement, reveal their job and organizational satisfaction levels, and assess the changes that occurred over the year.

Employees understand their meaning and importance, which directly reflects on engagement at work and loyalty indicators. We will continue to uphold long-term commitments by creating a safe, motivating work environment and providing opportunities for employees to contribute to projects significant for the whole of Lithuania,” says Ramūnas Papinigis, CEO of Tetas.

Employees appreciate their work at the company: they feel they can utilize their skills and abilities and believe that their work is meaningful. Psychological safety is also one of the company’s strong areas: employees are not afraid to ask if they don’t understand something, discuss emerging problems and difficulties with colleagues. Employees positively evaluate their direct supervisors as well, who treat them respectfully and are inclined to help them.

Employees positively rated the improvement of processes, events organized by employees, the motivational system, and increasing collaboration between departments over the past year.

The loyalty indicator reflects the satisfaction of the company’s employees with their work, the likelihood that they will continue to work and recommend the company to acquaintances. Tetas eNPS indicator for 2023 was 13, while it was -9 for the construction sector and 12 for Lithuanian companies. The score increased by 22.32 points compared to last year.

The employee engagement index at Tetas was 66% , increasing by 7 percentage points over the year . This indicator is in line with Lithuania (64%) and the construction sector (67%). Engagement at work is a positive state associated with work. Engaged employees are motivated, positive, and loyal to the organization, working with enthusiasm and high levels of responsibility.

The job satisfaction index of Tetas employees was 62%, increasing by 5 percentage points over the year . This indicator corresponds to the indicators of Lithuania (61%) and the construction sector (57%). Engagement at work is a positive state associated with work. Job satisfaction is the satisfaction felt by employees with their activities and the organization they work for. Satisfied employees are more engaged in their work and more productive.

The empowerment index of Tetas employees was 71%, increasing by 2 percentage points over the year . This indicator corresponds to the indicators of Lithuania (71%) and the construction sector (71%) Empowerment is the perceived opportunity to turn one’s enthusiasm into productive actions. Empowered employees feel trusted, given responsibility, and authority.

The key factors promoting engagement, as identified by Tetas employees, include psychological safety, meaningfulness of work activities, work-life balance, empowerment, and communication with direct managers.

In addition to other measures, Tetas provides its employees with an additional benefits package, which includes accident insurance, professional training, a hybrid work model, and other incentives aimed not only at employees but also at their families’ well-being. This benefits package is regularly reviewed and updated, incorporating benefits relevant to employees.

The employee engagement survey in the EPSO-G group of companies is conducted annually. In 2023 and 2024, it was conducted by the consulting company Addelse.

The energy infrastructure development and maintenance company Tetas is 100% owned by EPSO-G. The rights and obligations of the sole shareholder, EPSO-G, are exercised by the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Lithuania.
