The energy transmission and exchange group EPSO-G has elected the Board of Directors of the infrastructure development and maintenance company Tetas by a decision of its sole shareholder on Tuesday. The new Board of Tetas will be composed of an independent member Tomas Astrauskas and three members delegated by the parent company – Elida Drapienė, Darius Kašauskas and Ieva Kuodė, who will serve her second consecutive term. The company’s previous board of directors left office in March, after a four-year term.
In order to ensure good governance practices and the implementation of legislation, Tetas will have a total of five members on its Board of Directors, with the selection of one additional member to be finalised in April.
Tomas Astrauskas, an independent member of the Management Board with almost 20 years of experience in management in international companies and currently the CEO of Dextall LT, will be responsible for Tetas’ business development. The selection of the independent member of the Board was organised by AIMS Lietuva, and T. Astrauskas was selected from 26 candidates.
Ieva Kuodė, the Group’s Head of Planning and Control, who has more than twelve years of diverse experience in the energy sector and has been with EPSO-G for seven years, will continue to serve on the Board. “In the Board of Tetas, Kuode will be responsible for the development and efficiency of the organisation. “Elida Drapienė, Project Portfolio Manager of EPSO-G Group, with 15 years of expert experience in legal work, strategic management, project and process management, investment planning, will be in charge of Tetas’ project management and operations.
“Darius Kašauskas, Head of Finance and Operational Planning at EPSO-G Group, will be responsible for financial management and control in the incoming Management Board. Kašauskas, who has a background in corporate finance, energy regulation, acquisitions and reorganisations, and corporate governance, spent almost a decade as a member of the Board of Ignitis Group and as Head of Finance and Treasury before joining EPSO-G.
The next meeting of the newly approved Tetas Board is scheduled for the end of March. It will elect the Chairman of the Board.
