This year, the traditional team building event “Winter Day 2015” was held in Kaunas. A great celebration and good mood was guaranteed by Kaunas colleagues.
The event started with a tour of the Kruonis Pumped Storage Power Plant. After the excursion, we went to the Lithuanian Folk Household Museum (Rumšiškės). One group of participants played village youth games (skiing, running with a bitters, hammer-wielding, log-cutting, dexterous hand task, nailing a log), while another group went on a guided tour of Rumšiškės.
After the attractions, we went to the farmstead “Pas poną”, where we enjoyed the traditional dish of the region – cabbage soup. Oh, how tasty it was… After eating, we started building the tower. How much sweat and nerves were poured out until one team remained undefeated.
Everyone was very cool, playful, sporty and inventive, all teams were awarded trophies, and most importantly, we had fun, got to know each other and strengthened the team!
The organisation of the next celebration has been handed over to our colleagues in Alytus. Good luck to them in their organisational work!
