EPSO-G Group companies will announce 900 procurements this year, worth EUR 230 million

The companies of the new energy group EPSO-G plan to announce more than 900 public procurements this year, with a total value exceeding EUR 230 million. At the traditional EPSO-G Partners’ Day event, the group’s companies presented their plans for the coming years, upcoming public procurements, infrastructure projects and investments to contractors and business partners, and also discussed opportunities to further strengthen cooperation.

EPSO-G Group is implementing an ambitious strategy focused on the transformation of the energy system, modernization of networks, and increasing resilience. Our project portfolio is expanding – alongside energy infrastructure projects, security, critical infrastructure protection, and the needs of the defence industry are becoming increasingly important. Such projects require efficient solutions already today, and their successful implementation is impossible without close cooperation with partners. Partners’ Day is an important platform not only to present planned investments and public procurements, but also to share trends in the energy sector and potential synergies with other sectors,” says Mindaugas Keizeris, CEO of EPSO-G Group.

During Partners’ Day, participants were introduced to the EPSO-G Group companies’ plans for the coming years, planned design and construction works, 2026 public procurements, investment projects, and other key issues related to the transformation of the energy sector, sustainability, and the regulatory environment.

Last year, EPSO-G Group companies carried out around 2,000 public procurements with a value exceeding EUR 470 million. This year, more than 900 procurements are planned, with a total value of over EUR 230 million. When conducting public procurements, the group’s companies aim to increase supplier competition and improve the quality of procurements. “Partners’ Day has already become a tradition – an event where representatives of EPSO-G Group companies, contractors, and our partners and suppliers gather in one place. It is a great opportunity to present planned public procurements and infrastructure projects, discuss safe working principles at sites, and most importantly, to have an open conversation, listen to one another, and strengthen cooperation,” says Rokas Masiulis, CEO of Litgrid.

“The large number of participants gathered only proves that the projects we are implementing are important to our partners. Natural gas is a guarantee of energy stability, which is especially evident in the context of current weather conditions. Therefore, we continuously maintain and invest in the 2,300 km system we operate and plan the necessary upgrades. We want the transmission service to be convenient for our clients and for the system to operate reliably. We are actively expanding in the biomethane sector. We already have 5 connected producers and 8 signed agreements with those planning to connect. We are working so that in the near future we can make decisions regarding the construction of the hydrogen corridor. Therefore, we will have many projects that require reliable contractors and suppliers for their implementation,” says Nemunas Biknius, CEO of Amber Grid.

During the event, energy transformation scenarios were examined, changes in the legal regulation of public procurement were discussed, sustainability in the supply chain was addressed, and procurements of strategic programmes, updates on the implementation of infrastructure projects, and investment plans for 2026–2028 were presented.

EPSO-G Partners’ Day each year provides an opportunity not only to present plans and projects, but also to strengthen long-term dialogue with partners and suppliers in pursuit of a reliable, secure, and sustainable energy system in Lithuania.
