Lithuanian Federation of Industrial Trade Unions 2014 organised the 11th edition of its traditional professional excellence competition from 22 to 24 August. The Company’s employees who actively participated in the competition won prizes in individual competitions in the following areas:
- 2nd and 3rd prizes in the competition for the on-call electrician;
- 3rd place in the competition for electrician of high-voltage power lines;
- 3rd place in the Automatic Process Control Specialist competition;
- 2nd place in the Technologist Operator competition;
- 1st and 3rd place in the driving competition;
- 1st prize in the competition to become a member of the company’s occupational safety and health committee;
- 1st prize in the Lawyer Competition;
- 2nd place in the Personnel Manager competition.

The winners were awarded diplomas and prizes by the Lithuanian Federation of Industrial Trade Unions. A trip to Austria to visit industrial sites will be organised for the winners of the Apprenticeship Competition. Travel expenses will be paid by the Company.
