2014 m. 13 September The Company’s team building event “Wellness and Sports Day 2014” was held in Biržai.
Traditionally, the event has a cultural and sporting component. In the cultural part, we explored all of Biržai – with the help of our guides, we first visited the Biržai Castle and its Arsenal – t. y. “The exposition of the Biržai Fortress Arsenal is dedicated to the 16th-18th centuries. to present the arsenal of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania’s army of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania, the Princes Radvilas, and to show the importance and greatness of the arsenal”. Then we crossed the 525-metre-long pedestrian bridge over Lake Širvėna. The bridge connects Astravas Manor and the town of Biržai. We also visited the Astravas Manor, the famous Cow Cave and other karst sinkholes for which Biržai is famous.
And the sports part was also intense – volleyball, tug-of-war, football, squash and other games gave it our all, and we all had a great time.
