Tetas acquires a profitable laboratory

Tetas UAB will ensure high quality of contract works!

In order to ensure the quality of its maintenance services in the future, the contracting company UAB Tetas acquired a profitable laboratory from the outgoing Energy Services and Contracting Organisation (EnePRO).

The laboratory’s services include fault detection and repair, testing of distribution and transmission grid equipment, metrological verification of metering transformers, measurement of power transformers and transformer oil testing.

“Our team will be complemented by skilled professionals in their fields. Their added value will help us to further improve the quality of our services, increase the diversity of our services and ensure the profitable development of the company,” says Gediminas Mažeika, CEO of UAB Tetas.

The laboratory procured through the public tender meets the requirements of LST EN ISO 17025. This is important not only for maintenance and repair services at Litgrid and ESO, but also at transformer substations and distribution points of other industrial companies.

The Audit Committee of the Transmission and Exchange Company Group EPSO-G concluded that the transaction was in line with market conditions and that the price did not exceed the market price determined by an independent expert’s valuation.
